Meet Cadence
Born to Race, Built to Inspire

IMG_8170.jpeg

Cadence Rodrigue’s journey into drag racing is fueled by passion, mentorship, and a deep respect for the sport’s legends. Inspired by racers before her—especially her father—Cadence quickly found herself immersed in the world of competitive racing. Her drive to improve, learn, and push herself on the track has made her a rising star in the community.

From her rookie-year victory at the Race of Champions to her ongoing pursuit of perfecting the top end, Cadence thrives on competition and continuous growth. She credits her success to an incredible group of mentors, including James Kennedy, Terry Langdon-Davies, Rick McCloud, Ken Sihota, Darryl and Kassie Tippe, Emily Girard, and Kim Jongkind—all of whom have helped shape her into the racer she is today.

Her 2025 season is all about precision and performance—focusing on playing the top end, sharpening her reaction times, and seeing more win lights. She acknowledges that one of her biggest challenges has been consistency on the tree, but through discipline and practice, she continues to refine her skill set. Cadence stays mentally sharp by chilling in the pits, staying focused, and keeping her energy reserved for the race.

Beyond personal goals, Cadence envisions a bright future for the sport, especially for young women in racing. She hopes to inspire more female racers by sharing her experiences on social media and inviting new friends to the track. With her dedication and passion, she’s helping pave the way for the next generation of racers.

Focus  on the third yellow light on the tree—that will give you your best reaction time.”
